Another way for your student to get tuition money for next year…

Looking to pay a little less for tuition next year? Have your student apply for the Presidential Achievement Scholarship. The scholarship is only available to current Bellarmine students, and is renewable every year!

Who is eligible? All Bellarmine undergraduate students who are working towards their first degree, have completed one semester at the time of application, and are in good academic standing (cumulative GPA of at least 2.0) are eligible. Students already receiving full scholarships are INELIGIBLE for this award.

What are the criteria? Awards will be made on the quality of the entire application, including GPA, essays, involvement and other extracurricular activities, and recommendations. Successful applicants submit well thought-out and distinctive responses to the essay questions.

How much are the awards? Scholarships range from $500 to $2,000 per year. Once a student receives the scholarship, it is renewable for a three-year duration, or until graduation. To be eligible for renewal, students must maintain the approximate GPA they had at the time of award.

How do I apply? Access the application online through the student portal (my.bellarmine.edu).

When is my application due? All materials must be submitted online by Friday, April 15, 2011. Scholarships will be awarded mid-May.
