My name is Clare Gandenberger and I was the Chair of the 2012 Family Weekend Committee. This past weekend, families gathered at Bellarmine for an exciting weekend Under the Big Top. They spent time as a family– laughing at the hypnotist show, performing service in our community, enjoying a culinary carnival, making tie-dye tee-shirts and being entertained by very talented student performers. The weekend closed with Mass, reminding us all the importance of family and faith. Family Weekend at Bellarmine is more than the festive decorations and fun-filled events. Family Weekend is about giving students and their families time to relax and enjoy each other. It’s a chance for our students to take a break from their studies and unwind. It’s also a time for parents to enjoy a weekend with their children and be proud of the adults that they are becoming. We hope you enjoyed what, we think, may have been the Greatest Weekend on Earth!
