Something for your student to do!

Your student shouldn’t be worried that there is “nothing to do” those first few days of the semester!

BU Night at Kentucky Kingdom, 5-9pm, Sponsored by Bellarmine Activities Council (BAC), Wednesday, August 20

BAC will be giving away one free admission ticket and meal card (worth $8) to the first 300 students to visit the park the night before classes start.  Transportation to and from the park will be provided for all participants.  To reserve a ticket, students are asked to please complete the BU Night at Kentucky Kingdom Registration Form on U Knight at https://orgsync.com/68572/forms/109544 by Tuesday, August 19.  They must be registered on U Knight before they can complete the form.  All spots are first come, first serve.  Contact Emelia Dunston at edunston@bellarmine.edu for more details.

BU Night at the Kentucky State Fair, Sponsored by Louisville Connections, the Department of Residence Life & Student Government Association, Friday August 22

Students can enjoy a night out at the Kentucky State Fair on Friday, August 22.  There are 300 free gate admission tickets available for the first 300 students with a valid Bellarmine ID.  Tickets are first come, first serve (limit of 1 gate admission ticket per student with a valid Bellarmine ID).

Students must sign up on U Knight at https://orgsync.com/68572/forms/110242 to reserve their tickets.

Tickets will be available for pickup in the Student Activities Center beginning Wednesday, August 20.  Students must register online to receive a ticket.

Free transportation to and from campus is available.  Buses will depart from Frazier Hall at 5:30pm and will return to campus at 11pm.  If students need a spot on one of the buses, they must make sure to select that option on the registration form.

Sparks at Knight, Allen Building Parking Lot (Rain Location:  SuRF Indoor Tennis Courts), Saturday, August 23 at 6pm

Bellarmine Activities Council invites students to Sparks at Knight, the Bellarmine Campus Carnival, on Saturday, August 23!  The Carnival will feature inflatables, games, delicious carnival treats, the Honey Hill Mobile Petting Zoo and a live performance from Audiostrobelight (http://teamstrobelight.com/).  Make sure to stick around and catch the fireworks display at the end of the night.

Welcome Back Luau for Students Living on Campus

Date: August 24, 2014

Time: 7 – 9 p.m.

Location: Anniversary Lawn

Sponsored by the Residence Hall Association (RHA)

Residents are invited to celebrate the kickoff of the school year and meet their new Floor Representatives. There will be luau cuisine, inflatables, and music!
